Older Scenarios

Blood and Guts: The Russian Front
A World War 2 scenario dealing with the Russian Front. Not one of my best scenarios but worth a look anyway. Pales in comparrison to Captain Nemo's Red Front, which is available at Civfanatics from my link page.

Requires Civ2: Fantastic Worlds or Newer
Main Files (793kb)
Sound Files (676kb)

Gangwars
Probably one of my better scenarios. It was popular when it came out. A few years old now, it's still the first scenario that was fought in a city terrain. It comes with a full strategy guide like some of my feature scenarios. Official description is, "The Crime in Civville is out of control. You can either take the side of the Police to stomp it out, or take the side of the Gangsters and Mobsters to spread the Crime throughout the city." Some lewd suggestions in this scenario if you start playing around with the hookers... heh heh.

Requires Civ2: Fantastic Worlds or Newer
All Scenario Files (1,123kb)

Honor, Blood, and Steel
Another good scenario. It is a World War 2 Pacific scenario 1941-19??. I recently balanced it for multiplayer in 2000. Here's the official description: "If you thought you had seen a great scenario about the war in the Pacific during World War II, think again, because "you ain't seen nothin yet!" With its 28 new units and 7 new wonders, this scenario promises to blow away all of the competition. Harlan has noted that my map has ugly shorelines... I think they look fine, and the gameplay is accurate and fun--especially in multiplayer."

Requires Civ2: Multiplayer Gold Edition for hbsteel.scn OR
Requires Civ2: Fantastic Worlds or Newer for fwsteel.scn
All Scenario Files (646kb)

The Maddening part 3
Here's an interesting stand-out. It's a good scenario but the name just doesn't make any sense. I never made parts one or two or ever completed part four. I guess if you want a scenario where you make war in a modern/future South America, this is your one. Probably a tough challenge on Diety. The official description: "With the decline of the United States as a world power, its time for Brazil's ascension to fill the world power gap. Its goal: the complete conquest of South America." Don't let the description fool you, you can play as any power in this scenario.

Requires Civ2: Multiplayer Gold Edition
All Scenario Files (444kb)

The War in Korea
Originally made in August of 1997 my third scenario was updated sometime after I got Fantastic Worlds to have an event file. A lot of units. Kind of rough but an interesting play none-the-less. Might be really interesting as a PBEM or multiplayer game if you have time to burn... Official description: "The Korean War, fought between Communist and United Nations between 1950 and 1954, was a long and bloody battle, where at the winter of 1950 victory for the allies seemed at hand, until the Chinese sent their "volunteer" army into battle. Will you end up at a stalemate such as in present day, or can you do better? Or will you do worse and lose the whole of Korea? Only time will tell."

Requires Civ2: Fantastic Worlds or Newer
All Scenario Files (308kb)

Wing Commander
Don't let this one confuse you with the featured scenario. This is the predecessor to that scenario but is very different. If you beat that one, you might want to try this one too. Official description: "Have you ever played Wing Commander and wanted to take the admiral's seat for a change? Or have you played Armada and wanted a little more from your game? Well, here it is! In this Scenario you can choose either side from the Kilrathi War and duke it out in the Kilrah, Vega, and Terra sectors. Can you end the war? Or will it drag on for tens of Generations?"

Requires Civ2: Fantastic Worlds or Newer
All Scenario Files (1,132kb)

World War 3: Nuclear!
This was my second scenario made in May and June of 1997. It is crazy, but playable. I once won as Australia. Needless to say there are a lot of nuclear weapons in this one. Not getting reduced to a cinder is the challenge in this one. Although this is old, it's actually pretty fun! The official description: "It's World War III and the USSR is out to kick everybody's butt. But wait... It must contend with everybody too! And the world is filled with my new unit... the ICBM!!! While hopefully knocking out the other players nukes, you also nuke their cities. In any case, this scenario will see many a nuke fall..."

Requires good, old Civ2 v2.42
All Scenario Files (108kb)

World War 2: Pacfic
Holy Crap I thought it was gone forever. Alas I found it on Apolyton's old archives. My very first scenario made all the way back in May of 1997. Thanks Apolyton! I honestly haven't played this little gem in years so I can't remember much about it. It was probably the basis of Honor, Blood, and Steel. If you want you can look at it and laugh at newbie Darth's efforts. Plrease don't laugh too hard it's probably pretty bad. Official Description: "Well, I thought Micropose's WWII Europe scenario was nice, so I decided that I should do a WWII scenario set in the pacific. After working most of the bugs out I was satisfied with what it does now. I do remember the stupid senate would constantly make peace, so I eventually figured out what the "Total War Flag" does, and your senate should no longer interfere."

Requires good, old Civ2 v2.42
All Scenario Files (18kb) Can you believe it? Just 18kb!!!

And of course we remember with respect those scenarios which have long passed with dead hard drives: Red Cataclysm and Mechwarrior
